can we talk about how idie okonwko can kill a room full of hellfire mooks all by herself? like, that’s bananas. she’s fourteen years old and is capable of killing her whole village /on accident/ and a room full of trained drones /on purpose/. she’s powerful. possibly with natural talent.
at fourteen years old.
like shes not even an omega level mutant and people with unlimited power like quentin aren’t even using their full potential, like all you see him doing is pulling out a psychic gun. evan can make his atoms take any shape and all you ever seen him doing in wxm is pulling reed richardses, stretching.
like i am not complaining at all, powerhouse little woc are awesome. but like, why does she not get much character development? all she got out of these 40-ish issues was a boyfriend. can she get over her monster thing? or can she make friends with max? where has that story gone? and what about the whole sidekick thing she was forming with logan? speaking of which, how she blames herself for the schism?
quentin has gotten tons of use and quirks and development and idie has gotten pretty much jack since schism. what’s up with that?
but you have a powerful character with issues to work out, and you just. dont? the hell man. thats kind of sounding fishy considering idie is a girl and black…. and you give two white guys the most screentime….
like logan is played out. give him a break. and i’m not saying quentin isnt interesting, he is and i love him, but i feel like i’m losing all the cool screentime the ladies could be getting. like we have jia and iara just introduced and you could be doing so much with them. jia’s storyline has a lot of potential and so far you have set her story up and given her a love interest. and. uh. well. that’s kinda it. nothing character wise past her whole living up to expectations thing.
god. jason latour, /please/ do better.
